How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure wall perimeter × height for area, subtract openings, and divide by a roll's usable coverage (a standard roll covers about 5 m² after trimming). A typical 4×4 m room at 2.4 m high needs roughly 6 standard rolls.
How does pattern repeat affect quantity?
Large repeats waste more, because each strip must be cut to align the pattern — a big repeat can add 10–20% to the rolls needed. This calculator adds an allowance for it.
Should I buy extra wallpaper?
Always buy one extra roll from the same batch — dye lots vary between batches, and matching later is often impossible. Extra also covers future repairs.
