How it works
Each duration is converted to seconds, the two are added or subtracted, and the result is converted back into hours, minutes and seconds. Subtraction can produce a negative result, which is shown with a minus sign.
How to use the Time Calculator
Enter the values requested by the tool and start with one realistic example. Read the result together with its unit or label, then change one input at a time if you want to compare options. Keeping a note of the original figures makes the calculation easier to check later.
Dates, daylight saving and time zones can affect a result. Check the displayed inputs if the period crosses a calendar or location boundary.
