How do I count business days between two dates?
Exclude Saturdays and Sundays from the total. From a Monday to the Friday two weeks later is 11 business days across 15 calendar days. This calculator does it instantly.
Does this include public holidays?
No — it counts all Monday-to-Friday weekdays. Public holidays vary by country and region, so subtract any that fall in your range manually for an exact working-day count.
Why count business days?
Contracts, shipping estimates, payment terms and project deadlines are usually quoted in business days. 'Net 30 business days' is six calendar weeks, not four — the difference matters.
